Unlocking Insights, Shaping Futures: Join the Social Sciences Workshop in Partnership with Sikhia!

Sikhia is a discussion-based workshop and class. We’ll be covering topics ranging from basics of government to the fundamentals of economics and international relations. Here’s a basic outline of our curriculum.
Week 1: American politics fundamentals
Week 2: Understanding international relations
Week 3: International relations research project
Week 4: Economics fundamentals (US specific)
Week 5: International economics fundamentals
Week 6: Human Rights vs. Privileges
Week 7: Press freedom + Freedom of Speech
Week 8: Sikhs in Global Politics (how can you make a difference?)
Here’s what your student will take away from this workshop:

- Academic research skills

This extensive course is certified and will follow a professional curriculum and students will receive awards certificates as well as a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
If your child is over the age of 12 and interested in public speaking, debate, history, etc. fill out this form (https://forms.gle/8PvmoYNHGncsrcPE7). We will meet every Saturday at 7 am PST over zoom. Once you’ve signed up for the program, we will email you with a Zoom link and further information.
Note: this program is online on Saturdays, from 7:00-8:30 AM. The program started on September 9, 2023.
